ABOUT US

Meet Jessie

Jessie Berrins has a strong background in Special Education and Deaf Education and is the founder of Communication ALL Ways, a business dedicated to promoting inclusive communication through sign language, early literacy, and accessible library programming.

 

With over 8 years of experience designing and leading inclusive programs, Jessie creates engaging sessions that blend American Sign Language (ASL) with storytelling, STEM, crafts, music, and community building. She is currently completing her master’s degree at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA and is passionate about empowering families and educators with tools to support diverse learners.

Her programs have been featured in over 45 public libraries, and she has led outreach initiatives through the Girl Scouts that promote kindness, confidence, and inclusive communication for youth of all abilities.

 

In addition to her children’s programs, Jessie offers professional development for library staff focused on accessibility, visual supports, and inclusive patron services.

Do I or my child need to know sign language to attend a program?

No! All of our programs are designed for beginners and welcoming to all levels of communication. We teach in a visual, accessible way with lots of support.

What age groups do you serve?

We offer programming for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, tweens, teens, and adults—including customized trainings for educators and caregivers.

Where are your programs held?

We travel to libraries, schools, daycares, Girl Scout meetings, and community centers. Virtual options are available upon request.

Can I book a series of programs?

Yes! In fact, our programs work best when booked as a series. We offer a discounted rate for multi-session bookings.

Are your programs inclusive of Deaf and Hard of Hearing participants?

Absolutely. Our programs are grounded in inclusive communication practices and Deaf culture. We welcome and celebrate all communication styles.
